1. Open the Spotify Developer Dashboard and log in with the account you play music with.
2. Choose Create app. Name it My Stream Overlay and describe it as Displays my currently playing track in OBS. Select Web API.
3. Copy the exact redirect address below into Spotify's Redirect URIs box, choose Add, review the terms and save.Copy redirect address
4. Open your app's Settings. Copy the Client ID into the box below. Leave Client Secret alone.
5. Choose Connect Spotify, approve access on Spotify, then play a song to check the connection.

Always visible

Always visible keeps the player on screen while music plays. Otherwise, it fades out after your chosen number of seconds and returns when the next song starts.

1. Save your player above to create your personal display link.
2. In OBS, under Sources, click +, choose Browser, name it Streamer Music and click OK.
3. Paste your link into URL. Set Width to 700 and Height to 220, then click OK.
4. Connect Spotify above and play a song. Position the player on your scene.
